Christi grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She served in the Army, then spent more than 20 years in public safety, retiring as a Phoenix police officer. Those years sharpened her communication, negotiation, and integrity—skills she now brings to real estate.
Drawn to the North Georgia mountains, Christi made Blue Ridge her home. She loves the hills, lakes, rivers, and close communities. She serves as a board member of Open Arms Home for Children and as a Fannin County Chamber ambassador.
After finding personal success in real estate, when husband Michael retired, they started Decoufle Mountain Properties together, affiliated with Ansley’s Real Estate / Christie’s International. Christi enjoys food, travel, and meeting people. She uses her service background to connect with clients, seeing each one as a future neighbor and friend.

Born in Pennsylvania, Michael lived in six states, with significant time in Arizona and Georgia. He returned to Georgia for Blue Ridge’s fresh air and relaxed pace.
With a successful career in multi-state retail operations and franchising (Director of Operations, Brand Manager), he mastered logistics, team leadership, negotiation, and market analysis.
After years of national operations work, Michael and his wife Christi moved back to Georgia to build a life together. They left corporate roles to form a real estate team focused on serving Blue Ridge.
His strategic operations experience helps clients with efficient processes, clear market insight, and smooth, value-focused transactions. He is active locally as a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Blue Ridge Business Association.
Outside work, Michael enjoys cooking, golf, travel, and is a semi-retired marathon runner—bringing discipline and attention to detail to every client relationship.
